Welcome from President Thelma Clough

Thanks to our Rotary Club I would like to welcome you to our new website link which I hope you will find interesting and informative. 
I am very much looking forward to my year as the Club President, we have a busy programme of activities but I know I will always have the full support of the members and with their help I am sure we will have a happy and fruitful Inner Wheel year.    My charity for the year is The British Heart Foundation which will be the main beneficiary of our Charity Lunch to be held in October.   Core to the success of all our fundraising is the way our Club members work together as a team, that spirit combined with a lot of fun and laughter makes for a happy membership and we feel privileged, because of our many generous supporters, to have the opportunity to continue to make a positive difference to those in our community, nationally and internationally.

WHAT IS INNER WHEEL?

An International Organisation run by women for women of all ages.   Inner Wheel was founded in 1924 to support Rotary.  It later became International and is now one of the largest women’s service organisations in the world with more than 100,000 members in 3895 Clubs across the globe.   For more information see www.innerwheel.co.uk
