CLASSIC CARS DISPLAY – updated April 7th

17 Vehicles have now registered to be on display during the Slough Together Walk. The ‘Discover Classic Cars Exhibition’ is close to the start finish area and open to walkers free of charge.  Enquiries for  the display of additional vehicles may be addressed to geoff@fige.org


SPONSORS  EXTRA  SUPPORT – updated April 22th

Free T-shirts (CITROEN SLOUGH), baseball caps and commemorative wristbands (GRUNDON) and water (O2)  will be available at the starting check-in desks. Early birds will not be disappointed

CONCESSIONARY ENTRANCE TO HISTORY ON WHEELS MUSEUM – updated April 7th

Simply show your walk map at the entrance to qualify for £1 per person off the regular admission charges
Further information on the History on Wheels museum, based on the Slough Together Walk route at Eton Wick can be discovered at www.historyonwheels.co.uk.
History On Wheels is more than just a motor museum. The Museum was first opened to the public in 1980. You can discover a truly unique collection of MOTORS, both Military and Civilian, MILITARIA, from 1900 to the 1950’s, from all nations, and MEMORIES, illustrating artefacts of all types from both the civilian and wartime home fronts. There is also a shop and café on site. ‘History On Wheels – The Private Museum with Public Appreciation’
